Sundown Landscaping is a Colorado Springs landscaper, designer and architect who can create the yard of your dreams. Allen Davis has transformed hundreds of yards for more than 40 years and he’s not just a designer, he’s also a landscape architect.
Allen’s love of plants began with being his father’s shadow in all the vegetable gardens they had. Then one fateful day his Dad took him to a greenhouse, and he knew from that moment on that he would grow up to work with plants.
Allen enrolled at the University of Kentucky in 1978, originally wanting to major in Greenhouse Management. After seeing a course curriculum with a description of Landscape Architecture, he realized that would be his future.
Allen has practiced in Kentucky, Tennessee, Florida, South Carolina and Colorado. He’s worked for professional offices and then switched to residential design/build in 1990. He loves working in Colorado Springs and plans to stay here until retirement.
